Terms of Service

1. Service Description
Skyline OS provides a software platform for real estate photography companies to manage booking, scheduling, team assignments, editing workflows, media delivery, and related operations ("Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. You may not share your account with others in a way that violates your plan or these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and that your team members and clients are bound by appropriate agreements where relevant.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: (a) use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or third-party rights; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems or networks; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers; (d) use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or harmful content; (e) scrape, reverse engineer, or build a competing product based on the Service without our written permission; or (f) resell or sublicense the Service in a manner not expressly permitted by your plan. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of acceptable use.
4. Payment Terms
Fees for your plan are billed in advance (e.g., monthly or annually) according to the pricing displayed at signup or in your account. You must provide a valid payment method. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of the Service. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy (e.g., we may offer prorated refunds for annual plans in certain circumstances; contact us for details). Prices may change with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance unless you cancel.
5. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you and your team upload to the Service (e.g., photos, client data, company information). We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to use, store, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not use your content for marketing or other purposes unrelated to the Service without your consent. Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. For standard plans, we provide the Service on a best-effort basis; we do not offer an uptime SLA unless you have an Enterprise agreement that expressly includes one. We may perform maintenance with or without advance notice and are not liable for downtime within reasonable limits.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skyline OS and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity) arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time through the account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access for non-payment, violation of these Terms, or for any other reason with notice where feasible. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may retain and use your data as described in our Privacy Policy and data retention practices; you may export your data during any period we make available for export after cancellation.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may be communicated by email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
10. General
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Skyline OS regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
